I have a passion for designing spaces.

I design both web spaces and interior spaces. I have had a wonderful career as a web designer, which started many years ago as a serendipitous opportunity, and turned into a love and a vocation. But then, the web space started to morph and change, and I turned my attention to a different sort of space that I also love to design - interiors. I am fascinated by the subtle details in how a space is occupied and arranged, the vibe it produces, and how I can manipulate it. Changing your environment can change your mind.

My path has led me to health & wellness…

Initially it was a personal interest, with the goal of learning how to best honor and treat my body as well as I can, because I would rather be in great physical health when I get to 100 than to be rickety, uncomfortable and struggling with health issues. I want to make it to the finish line feeling as great as I possibly can. But I also wanted to figure out how to do that without restricting myself to only things pious and clean. I want to balance the different sides of me - the longtime metalhead who loves beer and debauchery, and the meditator who enjoys being simple, quiet, and out in nature. I choose to walk the middle path.

Designing the physical space that you live in every day to be comfortable and serene is an important part of creating a stress-free life. In addition to your environment, important routines that affect your quality of life include designing how you eat, how you use and care for your body, and how much stressors you allow into your environment. I want these positive things for myself, and I want them for you.

Which led me to designing wellness spaces…

Whether you are looking to unwind and clear your head, get your blood pressure down, keep cancer in remission, or strengthen your immune system and minimize illness, creating your space that will foster your own personal vision of good health and low stress is key to having a wonderful journey toward a healthy and low-stress life.

To help people de-stress, I took my drawing skills and created a YouTube channel called the Gentle Pencil, with the idea that watching me draw would be a nice little break in your day. With mellow music in the background, you can zone out to a video, which are usually between 10 and 20 minutes long.

At the end of the day… I just love to make stuff.

For me, designing and making stuff has no boundaries.
